Queensland Conference and Camping Centres' Director of Camping is Andrew Grant.  Andrew was appointed to the position in late 2009 in response to the growing success of QCCC’s three main sites.  His role is to oversee operations at its three South East Queensland facilities, ensure that QCCC maintains its high standards and take responsibility for the development of new programs and services.

Andrew and his family, wife Anne and three boys Joseph, Timothy and Elijah moved to Mapleton from Dubbo, NSW, where Andrew was the Director of Business and Finance with a not-for-profit organisation working in regional and outback Australia.  Andrew’s previous role included being a franchisee of two outlets of Domino’s Pizza and provided a thorough grounding in the business and youth work roles essential to a successful camping operation.

Andrew graduated from Townsville’s James Cook University with a Bachelor of Economics degree and also has qualifications in Christian Studies.  His academic credentials are complemented by nearly two decades of work experience across roles in the public service, small business and the not-for-profit sector.  Andrew’s office is based at Mapleton and he regularly travels between the other two sites.

QCCC has built up a strong reputation for a quality experience for both camps and conferences.  My role is to take our services to a new level, to expand our operations and ensure that our clients and guests continue to enjoy the high standard they’ve become used to.  Our staff are pro-active about growth and we have some exciting developments to unveil over the next 12 months”.

QCCC’s aim is to be the leading provider of conference, camping and expeditions in the South East Queensland corner, and we hope to do this by pursuing an innovative approach to our business development”.
